World First! Finch Signs bring to life a….Chammoth!
Recently, I took a rather unusual call from Iveco and their design agency…
“we have an idea…can you bring the ‘’Chammoth’’ to life?”
‘’Of course I can’’ was my reply and I set about planning the very unusual wrap of a Iveco Daily Van. The brief you ask? The van needs to be fully covered in fur, look like a mammoth and a cheetah, have a trunk and a tail, along with a pair of tusks, oh and how about some eyelashes and some ears?!
“No problem, leave it with me”.
We started by wrapping the entire van in vinyl to ensure there would be no damage to the van. We removed all trims and lights etc, planned the material, cut to shape and started applying the fur. ‘’How about we fit a coconut shy in the back, can you do this as well?’’. Of course we can, leave that with me!
To say the whole project was and is unusual is an understatement but it’s one we thoroughly enjoyed being part of. We completed the wrap, gave the fur a coat of scotch guard to protect it and set the ‘’Chammoth’’ loose to venture around the UK on a promotional tour.
